JPM Senior Associate Jelena Milinović has delivered a careers lecture to law students titled “Advocacy or Judiciary: What is my choice ?” on April 18 at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law
Ms Jelena Milinović who had spent 16 years working as a prominent judge in Serbian judiciary (subsequently changing her career path to become a senior attorney) reflected on the two professions, describing professional, legal and practical aspects of both professional callings.
This proved to be a valuable opportunity for law students to find out about differences and similarities between the two unique career paths, ask valuable incisive questions and (re)consider their own career aspirations.
