Jelena is a Partner in JPM and her practice is mainly M&A, Corporate Law, Banking & Insurance, Restructuring and Reorganizations, Pharmaceuticals, PPP and Concessions. Jelena is also head of Energy Department in JPM.  Apart from the mentioned, Jelena is also Certified Bankruptcy Administrator. In  the last few years Jelena has also been involved in legal advising of the respective companies and representation of their interests before the Serbian governmental authorities. To name just a few transactions Jelena has participated at: advising the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Serbia in preparation of the Law on Transfer of Assets and Liabilities of Certain Banks for the Purpose of Preserving the Financial Stability of the Republic of Serbia; advising the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Serbia in first PLA transaction in the Republic of Serbia with respect to transfer of part of assets and liabilities of special purpose bank Nova Agrobanka a.d. Beograd to Banka Postanska Stedionica a.d. Beograd; advising Delta Holding in sale of 100% of Delta Maxi Group; acting the Republic of Serbia in restructuring of national air carrier JAT Airways; advising State Owned Gas Distribution Company Srbijagas Novi Sad in implementation of the Basic Co-Operation Agreement on the construction of the South Stream Gas Pipeline and in the further course of implementation of the South Stream Project; advising the State Owned Gas Distribution Company Srbijagas Novi Sad in implementation of the Joint Venture Agreement, incorporation of the JVC in Banatski Dvor and in drafting of the necessary legal documentation required for the ordinary course of business and operations the JVC Banatski Dvor; advising the State Owned Company Srbijagas and Insurance company Sogaz Moscow from Russian Federation in incorporation of insurance company Sogaz a.d.o. Novi Sad, including representation before the National Bank of Serbia in process of obtaining of insurance license; advising State Owned Company Srbijagas in negotiation and execution of several LMA Credit Facility Agreements with foreign banks such as Deutsche Bank, Credit Swiss, ATB Bank Amsterdam, etc.; advising Victoria Group a.d. and Standard Gas d.o.o. Novi Sad in various corporate issues; advising the State Owned Gas Distribution Company Srbijagas Novi Sad in the negotiation with the EBRD in the course of the execution of the Loan Agreement and providing the state guarantee on behalf of the Republic of Serbia; advising Apline Mayreder Bau GmbH Austria in the concession project regarding  construction, operation and maintenance of highway Horgos-Pozega; advising the Republic of Serbia in the negotiations leading to the execution of the agreement on sale and purchase of 51% of shares in NIS (leading oil company in Serbia) with Gazpromnjeft, Russia; advising the Republic of Serbia in negotiations with FIAT regarding joint-venture project in Kragujevac; advising KBC Group N.V. Belgium in acquisition of A Banka a.d. Beograd and two brokerage-dealing companies and subsequent liquidation of KBC Broker a.d. Belgrade; advising CA Immo International AG Austria in acquisition of company TM Immo d.o.o. Belgrade; advising Luka Beograd a.d. in various corporate and commercial matters; advising  FMTG-Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group in transactions related to the transfer of shares in companies Alba Invest d.o.o. Belgrade and MF Development d.o.o. Belgrade; advising  Asseco South Eastern Europe, Poland and Asseco Poland, Poland in swap transaction in the course of preparation of IPO of Asseco in Poland, as well as  advising Asseco South Eastern Europe S.A. in the acquisition of shares in the Serbian companies  Pexim d.o.o. Belgrade, Pexim Cardinfo d.o.o. Belgrade and Antegra d.o.o. Belgrade;advising Efes Breweries International N.V. in the course of preparation of merger of Brauerei MB d.o.o. Novi Sad with Heineken; advising Zepter Komerc Banka Banja Luka, Republika Srpska regarding the sale of shares.  Jelena has several times been a member of working groups for drafting laws such as Insurance Law, Bankruptcy Law, National Standards for Administrating the Bankruptcy Estate, etc.
